Sportsman's Code by Trophy Mag
While attending the Eastern Outdoors Show this past weekend, I came across an interesting new concept which I thought will be a great way to further promote hunting and the “be proud of who you are†mentality that I think we all need to adopt.
Trophy Magnet is the latest idea from a group of guys out of Pennsylvania. This magnet signifies a lot once decoded and is a great way to show fellow sportsman that you are a hunter and proud of it. Not sure who is watching “The Bone Collector†right now, but Waddell, Nick Mundt and T-Bone are doing a great job of promoting the sport and also being proud of who they are and what they do. The Trophy Magnet is a great way for us as hunters to help spread that mindset as well.
The Trophy Magnet has a “Sportsman's Code†built into it, and tells your hunting story as well as acts as an indicator by communicating success to fellow hunters; all on a simple yet effective magnet.
The magnet design includes a letter, which indicates which weapon you were successful with; A for Archery, M for Muzzleloader, and F for Firearm. Next piece is a silhouette of the big game animal you were successful harvesting; there is a long list of these, including Whitetail Deer, Elk, Mule Deer, etc. The final piece to the “Sportsman's Code†is the year, which signals to fellow sportsman which year you were successful…
I know sounds like it could get expensive for some of you who are successful every year with every weapon, but at $7.95 each it won't break the bank. I have mine coming and will be proudly displaying on my truck as soon as it arrives… I think this is a great way to show your support for hunting, and be proud of who you are, A Hunter…
