Interview with ROCKY's Outdoor Marketing Manager Steve Graham

I sat down with Steve Graham, ROCKY's Outdoor Marketing manager, at the Archery Trade Association's Trade Show in Indianapolis last Friday to find out what we should expect from ROCKY in 2011.

The all new long range boot is by far my favorite new product in the ROCKY LINE. My personal favorite is style 8884, an eight and half inch boot, with 800 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation covered in Mossy Oak camo. The ten step Long Range Peak Performance System that comprises this boot is designed to give today's hunter the right combination of stability, comfort, flexibility and warmth, while at the same time giving the consumer the best boot money can buy. The boot retails for around $189.99 and is available for both men and women.

ROCKY is so confident that you will like these boots that they come with a ridiculous guarantee. Check out their website for all of the details.

ROCKY will also be expanding their waterproof sporting offering in 2011, including the versatile MudSox rubber boot collection. “These boots perform well in the woods, by the lake or at camp,” said Grahm. “We expect them to be a big hit with hunters who want the features of a traditional rubber boot but with much more comfort.”

The MudSox series is built with a snug fitting, full neoprene sock that can be easily rolled over at the top. Breathable and buoyant, these lightweight boots will also keep your feet warm and protected. This collection also features self-cleaning, all terrain outsoles, and ROCKY's popular scent control system, SiQ Atomic.

For women, they need to look no further than ROCKY to find boots and apparel that are designed for today's huntress. ROCKY continues to add products to its women's line of apparel to make them more comfortable in the woods. Building on the success of its BroadHead bow hunting line of boots and apparel, ROCKY is adding bow hunting apparel for women. “Our BroadHead line has gained quite a foothold in the market, especially our apparel line that we launched in 2010. The addition of apparel for women is a natural extension,” said Graham. “This apparel has been designed from a bow hunter's perspective with comfort and performance in mind.”

Women seeking a lightweight, mobile boot now have a new option with ROCKY's ProLight. This boot is designed specifically for women. The ProLight series comes in both insulated and non-insulated models. “These boots are built for women on the move.” Said Graham. “Our goal is to meet the needs of all hunters, and there is definitely a need in the market for this type of boot.”
