what size is right for squirrel?

What do you think the correct shot size for squirrel is? I usually use 6's but I wondered if there was a better size.

I only use .22's and bow for squirrel also, although I have shot squirrels with shotgun. I would use 6's or 4's, don't get to small because you will pepper it and it will be useless, and don't get to big because you will blow it up!

I've used 8 and 7 !/2...I usually use 6 though...they all seem to do just fine for me...thats with a 12 guage though. I wouldn't go any bigger than 6 if you plan on having something left to eat.

I've really been enjoying using this U.S. Govt. overrun .223 ammo.

Definitely no bigger than a 6 but I agree with all the other responses. Use a bow, a .22, a .177 pellet rifle.
