Goose/Duck hunting messing with Deer huntingHow much do you think goose hunting a field surrounded by woods that you also deer hunt will mess with Deer patterns? e.g. I goose hunt in a field several hundred yards from my deer stand.
Honestly, Im not real sure if its going to effect the deer or not - me personally though, I try not to disturb the area I deer hunt in any way, I would look for a new place to shoot birds. I doubt thats any help, its just the way I do things.
Well the first man comes along that can read Latin is welcome to rob us, far as I'm concerned. I'd like a chance t' shoot at a educated man once in my life.

considering i know where youre talking about... I think it will affect the deer hunting... Especially in the back field, if we hunt the front fields for geese i think we can get far enough from the woods not to have much of an impact..

If you are goose hunting, I would just ask another farmer, they usually don't care if you goose hunt at all. I don't think your shooting would completely screw up the deer patterns, unless you goose hunt every day or very frequently. Just my 2 cents.
IVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH GOOSE HUNTING MESSING UP THE DEER HUNTING. WE USED TO SETUP THE DECOYS 150 YDS FROM A DEER STAND AND MANY A DEER WERE KILLED WHILE WE WERE OUT IN THE FIELD GOOSE HUNTING. THE DEER STAND WAS ON THE EDGE OF THE FIELD WE WERE HUNTING IN, SO IT WASNT LIKE IT WAS BACK IN THROUGH THE WOODS OR ANY THING. IVE SEEN MORE DEER PROBABLY WHILE IM GOOSE HUNTING THAN WHILE IVE BEEN DEER HUNTING.
