I had plans on being in the woods for the opener of the Virginia season but things have fallen thru on the property I had lined up.

I contacted a guy thru craigslist back in the fall about a opening in a club in virginia. Everything sounded great and I sent the guy money for the member dues. Well I contacted the guy a month or so ago about the upcoming spring season and getting directions to all the properies and signed permission slip. He e-mailed me back with a new phone number which I contacted him on a day or so later. He was working at the time and said he would call me back. To make a long story short, after numerous calls and e-mails and even going to his house in Fredericksburg, he has yet to call or e-mail anything in regards to the property or permission slip. I sent him a text and e-mail Sunday after visiting his house stating I wanted my money back if he could not supply me with a permission slip and the exact property directions.

I don't think I have to explain how pissed off I am right now. I plan on contacting the cops and see what options I have. Lesson learned about the whole sending money prior to meeting someone in person and getting permission slips and directions to all properties before sending money.

Just a shot in the dark but any of you know a guy named Mark Henderson of Fredericksburg, Va?
If so, I'd liked to know were he works. I already know were he lives. One way or another I'll get that $200 back.

Good luck my Virginian Brothers, Our season opens in Maryland with a youth hunt on 16 April, with the regular season running from 18 April through 23 May 2011.

By the way brother Adaye keep your head up, it's never a good feeling when you have someone try to steal from you.

Well, aqnybody do any good??? Did run into a very vocal hen yesterday, but no gobbling to be heard. Figured with all the racket we made, if any self respecting gobbler had heard all that sweet talking,he would have sounded off..... maybe next time!
