Forum for Women in the Hunting World, Welcome to All...
She is good, but they tend to run very small...take her with you and let her try it on...I don't buy womens, clotheing, I buy mens, I know they are bigger and never the right length..I always have to do adjusting, But some women brands, are so tight fitting..I want it to be loose and comfortabe, and I want to layer under it for cold weather, instead of buying several outfits ...I like my scent blocker suit...I can buy med in men, yes they are big, but fir real good as I layer...I learned to adjust..lol
I'm joining this conversation a little late, but I think She Apparel s great for day to day wear and layering. It's durable and washes well. In my opinion, some of their T-shirts run a bit small, so I would get one size larger than you think you need.
For camo, I highly recommend Prois. The gear is designed for women and has a great cut that leaves room for shooting. It's tough to draw back a bow in gear that's bulky. I have found that much of the gear on the market is not conducive to a woman's body shape, but this gear does a nice job. It's virtually silent in the woods, which is fantastic. The fabric is comfortable and warm and washing has only seemed to make the gear better.
Speaking of apparel, I was hoping for a woman hunter's perspective. My wife likes to occasionally accompany me on hunting trips. She doesn't have a lot of her own gear and I thought it would be nice to get her a hunting jacket for her bday. What do you all think of this jacket for female hunters?
I know for a fact my wife has found a great selection of boots and hiking sneakers for the "outdoorswomen" on this forum...did I mention she's also a better hunter than me? Don't tell her though, goes straight to her head
