124-gr. Bullet question

Postby savvyninja » Sat Feb 25, 2012 6:58 pm

I found a good deal on 1000 rds of Wolf performance ammunition. I'm thinking of buying it for deer hunting. How well does this round perform on the field? Any experienced users of this caliber?

I have not heard much about Wolf performance besides not being able to reload them. Not sure!

I would not recommend Wolf ammo. It's performance is unreliable and depending on the caliber is often times nothing more than Russian ammo that has been retitled. For target use, it's OK. But, when it comes to the field and hunting you really do need to go with a solid, well built and constructed bullet. Wolf just simply does not have the performance history and construction you need to insure safe and humane kills.
