Check your gear!!!!!

Postby Smitty8105 » Thu Aug 13, 2009 8:59 am

I have been shooting all summer at home and in a league!

Well yesterday i was shoot a bit at home and during my second group i shot my last arrow and my sight flew off my bow! It had become loose and just flew off from the shock of my shot.

So i had to put it back on, tighten it down, and re sight in my bow!

My sight had become loose from all the shooting and i didn't notice! I usually check out my gear before hand but this time i did not and payed for it!

So some advice, look over your gear every time you shoot, or go hunting, you might have this same problem and miss that big buck!

ive had my sight get loose, but it wont fly off. it is attatched, just for that purpose. i think you have to do something else in order to get it to come all the way off!

Saw the posts above I can recommend some great sights that you can get on the cheap to drastically improve accuracy!
