Don't let them try and fool you. Total anti bs written in that article.

Not only is it complete Bull****, but the author is trying to spin it in a way to sound as if these are the feelings and thoughts of people who hunt, fish and trap.

The part about "FOOTHOLD" traps is with out question garbage. Notice, its "foothold" not leghold because thats exactly what they do..HOLD THE FOOT or PAD of a furbear. Anti's like to use the word leghold. They do not maim or kill, causing suffering. Ask most any trapper and they will tell you its not uncommon to find a fox or coon sleeping while being held by a foothold trap. Does that sound like a animal thats being maimed.

Think about it, a trapper wants the pelt to be in the best condition possible, therefore they want something that is not going to cause damage or maiming and they want the animal to be as comfortable as possible. The more comfortable the animal is the less likely for any rubs marks on the pelt. Trappers even modify traps to ensure that the trap is as comfortable as possible for the intended target.

Foothold traps do not main or brake bones. Trust me, i've had my finger caught a couple times and it didn't break my finger which is about the size of a coons wrist if you think about it.
If guns kill people then pencils mis spell words..

It is just another case of people trying to turn the public and other hunters against hunting in general. They don't know what they are talking about. Just trying to come up with stuff that is going to hit on the senses rather than making sense.

If this is a law. Who will pay the taxes to control fur animals. The game wardens are paid by us the hunter, trapper, fisherman. We pay the fees to enjoy the sports and those fees go to the game comission. If we pay those fees the tax payer will pay more and the state will go into more debt. coonhunterssupply.com
