Get your plots in?

Postby titleist_03 » Wed Jun 30, 2010 9:24 am

We tried three weeks and but our farms had 6+ inches of rain in the 4 days we were up there. Talk about a pain! We did manage to get almost everything sprayed in order to prep for later. Hopefully it had time to dry before the next rain hit. Headed back up tomorrow to check and see what the round-up did and weather permitting get some Eagle beans in the ground. It's awful late for them, but if the rains continue here in the Midwest they'll work out great. Anyone get summer plots in?

My mini-plot in the backyard is TOAST!! I mean it looks real bad... I just setup the sprinkler and hopefully that'll bring it back to life, but it doesnt look too good if you ask me... I might try to take a picture of it and see if it comes back with a little water...

Well here is what I have now... Hopefully it'll come back with steady water, but I'm not too optimistic... Maybe someone with a green thumb can provide some insight..?

reseed and water only in the morning or evening as the sun is going down. try that? introduce more feed to help build it up

I've been watering for about a week now... Seems to be coming back... I will post another picture when I get a chance to go out there...
