Never will be a professional, but I like to decoy and rattle. I am not a big fan of hunting on a field, but when I know its close to a buck's bedroom, then I go into the field with buck decoy and rattling horns. I like to do this when the rut is in full swing. These big boys are crusing their grounds for some does and when they hear a fight going on in their neighborhood, they can't control it, they come running. They will most likely come to the side of the decoy or the front to size them up. Be ready to either shoot him quick or watch your decoy get rocked. Also the snort wheeze is another call to use. This is a call that bucks use every one in a while. They do this to get another buck's attention. It works in the right situations.

Good Luck
