I used to think it was "too warm" too, until last week, when I got my first one. When we went out there it was 89 degrees! I can't wait til it gets cooler though, so I'm not as pressed to get them processed. I'd rather let it hang for awhile.

I'm not a big fan of letting them hang.... Makes my stomach weak.
We are one day people. I think my husband is a bit compulsive though :)

I just found this place :D

I've been out a few times since season opened, but no shots. Seen a fair amount of deer. Did some unsucessful duck hunting.

The only thing I've gotten was two geese in early goose season. That was fun!

Hi Booker! Welcome.....
Since I shot my first one, I have only seen one deer, besides the one my hubby got last week. It was the big 8 pointer...other than that nada.
I hope to see some doe tomorrow though when I get to go again!

Well, I got that turkey that I posted about this past Sunday. Haven't had a chance to get out again this week. Having some family issues, so I've been out there a lot. Hopefully things straighten out, so I can get more hunting in!
