Guns for Small Game

Postby ChrtruseMajic » Tue Dec 07, 2010 3:35 pm

I know there was a topic before saying what method do you use to hunt small game posted by savingyour6 I believe, but I would like to know what would be a good bolt action .22 rifle to get. Right now I have a semi auto Marlin .22 rifle that my dad got me when I was a child. I love the gun, but I want something bolt action. Should I stick with Marlin, or are there other manufacturers that are known for the .22 rifles? Thanks.
Good Hunting,

i like the rugers line

I still use my Remington 572, it is a pump .22 BUT I can shoot all types rounds. Shorts, longs,LR. and I can even mix them if I ever mess up. This rifle was my first, my granddad got it for me when I turned 12, guess he got tired of me always using his. You might take a look at this one. 40 year, and probably a million rounds, and it is still a tack driver.
