crazy looking squirrel

we are in NC at my inlaws and we went to the pool today and as we where walking up there was a BIG squirrel. this thing had white face and white ears. this thing was twice the size as a normal one. we got so close to we could almost touch it. i have some pics on my phone i will send them to the site when i get a chance to.

I was out hunting last week and saw something similar. It was really weird. It was grey and brown and it was huge. I mean huge. I could have fed a family of four with this sucker. But it definately was in the squirrel family. I wonder if it mated with a fox or something. They have to be hybrids of some sort. Who knows. Or mutants.

I was told that it was a fox squirrel. That thing wasnt afraid at all of us when we walked by. I got close to it to take the pic and it didnt even move. I think I was more afraid of it then he was of me.

i wanna say its a black fox squirrel.... most of the time they are red but this guys is black as sin....
