Is it worth spending a ton of money on these crank radios? This one http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=743106 is for $30 it's a storm alert brand. Do you really get what you pay for?

I have seen radios that have both a crank and solar. So if there is no sun, you can crank. Then you wouldn't have to choose. I can't tell you where to find one, but I used to sell them when I worked at The Sports Authority store.

I got a couple of crank flashlights too. Not sure of the brand, chinese made. But they work great.
