Clover Plot...

Postby SJohnson » Mon Mar 31, 2008 8:54 am

Ok, I am far from a farmer, but I rented a rotor tiller over the weekend and tilled up the back yard....haha It was alot more work then I thought it would but, but I got a nice little plot setup... I put a little lime on it, and I am waiting for my PH tester to get here... I've ordered Whitetail Institutes Imperial Clover to plant...

I am looking for more information on this whole process though... I will make sure that the PH level is good before planting, but does anyone have any other info....??

Thanks!

How did your food plot turn out? I tried planting clover this spring and got a 5 inch rain the next day. What didn't wash off the field was covered with several inches of dirt. I did plant biologic Maximum about a month and a half ago and got a stand, but not quite as good as I would have liked. Hopefully it will be enough.
