GREELEY, Colo. (March 14, 2011) - With a new roof-prism design and the brightest array of high-definition (HD) glass elements Steiner Optik has ever put into a binocular of this style, the new Nighthunter XP binocular delivers images that are so remarkably bright, you can significantly extend your time in the field. No other optics of similar size and weight can provide the considerably brighter images that are produced from the new XP line. Available in 8x42, 10x42, 8x56 and 10x56, the new Nighthunter XP not only brings the subject closer, but they also provide exceptional contrast and natural HD color.
The secret behind the new Steiner Nighthunter XP is the ability to present the highest possible light transmission visible to the human eye. This is accomplished by delivering exception light transmission over a wide range of the human eye's color spectrum, resulting in being able to see greater detail in low light or even near darkness. The patented NANO-Protection hydrophobic lens coating on the Nighthunter XP lets you see more in all weather conditions.
Waterproof and submersible, this new rugged binocular line features an ergonomic design and rubber armoring for a certain grip at all times. The Nighthunter XP are purged and pressurized to 14 psi with dry Nitrogen and Argon gas to ensure crisp, clear images in any weather condition or humidity level. All four models of the new Nighthunter XP line meet and exceed the U.S. mil spec standards for shock, fog and waterproof performance, and they come backed by an industry-leading 30-year limited warranty.
Available at retailers nationwide, the suggested retail price for the new roof-prism Nighthunter XPs are: 8x42: $849, 10x42: $949, 8x56: $999 and 10x56: $1,049.
